New Years resolutions and all that

The project that consumes so much time but goes nowhere. I spent a while creating this site with some Apple software that is no longer supported so I essentially lose all that I had. A multitude of pages with photos and text. My fault for trusting others and not my instinct. Keep the software on my own computer and keep it simple. Don’t depend on the cloud to manage it all. So, I begin again. Slowly

Kind of making a mess of things, two blog pages with identical entries. I think I can get this to work. Maybe a bit kludgy for a while.

I read about a website for people to track animals that have been hit on roads in California and Maine- I guess they will fill in the states between as it grows. The curious thing was the site name, www.wildlifecrossing.net. Similar. They had some features I would like to eventually include here.

So a few things came up to delay the official launch. A lot more time spent on my job and a desire to have the page people go to be the real address have brought us to this later date. I could do it a little differently I know but there it is. I’m now recreating the pages in the Yahoo interface rather than the Apple program I had been using. But who really cares about that. Just look at the site. The blog is a way to guilt me into looking and acting on the site more than once a month.
